Welcomes Claire Kinnel and Larry Tiblis to PRL & Communications


Meet Larry Tiblis

On April 2nd, Larry Tiblis joined the PYM Communications Department in the role of Web and Digital Manager as part of the Communications Department. Larry’s brings a wealth of knowledge around WordPress, Javascript, Adobe Suite, Google Analytics, HTML and CSS3. Larry’s repository of work in IT, content, and internet marketing management, combined with his rich experience with coding, Larry’s extensive background is poised to support and impact PYM’s departmental efforts to increase engagement and outreach for 100+ plus meeting and over 10k members. For over a decade, he has focused on helping small to mid-size businesses and non-profit organizations prioritize and optimize their websites and cybersecurity protocols.

He has been responsible for the development and maintenance of various websites and e-commerce micro sites. Having served in the capacity of SEO consultant to C-suite members, Larry prioritizes the User Experience (UX) and has provided digital security consultation to several organizations, including other Philadelphia-based religious and nonprofit organizations. Larry is also well-versed in SQL queries, style guide and image repository maintenance and image.

Larry’s favorite color is green, and his favorite season is Fall. In his free time, you may find him enjoying a cheese omelet.


Meet Claire Kinnel

Program and Religious Life is pleased to welcome Claire Kinnel as the Community Engagement Coordinator.

Claire Kinnel brings to the position experience as a Programming Facilitator and Community Engagement chair for an Advocacy and Policy committee. She has held positions as a research assistant and supported multiple service programs as an organizer and volunteer. That work has been centered on engaging community members through education and activism on issues like improving maternity care and eating disorder prevention.  Raised and guided by her Quaker education, Claire grew up in Newtown Meeting and attended Buckingham Friends School and George School before graduating from Connecticut College, where she studied Biochemistry and Public Health.

Claire’s centered presence and thoughtful, creative perspectives will undoubtedly offer an environment of collaboration and productivity that will inevitably create an impact on and support the many volunteers Claire will engage with and meet along the way. Before joining PYM, Claire has been fostering inclusive and empowering spaces in her work, focusing on collaboration and positive social impact.

Claire describes herself as a person with a “cheerful adaptability.” She looks forward to leveraging her organizational skills in this role while also fostering meaningful community connections.

In her spare time, Claire can be found around Philadelphia listening to live music, taking long walks, eating a bagel, or waiting on the perfect summer BLT.
